The LORD will tell what to do when you call on HIM (23)

Message in prayer, God convicted me

God instructs us in phil 4:6 don't fret, worry abt anything, but pray
and petition with thanksgiving to make your wishes known to God
...he instructs us to pray with thanksgiving in every circumstance, not
pray with complaining. Grumbling and complaining usually happen when
something doesn't go the way we want it to...we r to be patient during
those times..patience isn't the ability to wait, but to keep a good
attitude while waiting. Remember you can't move forward in a positive
way if your thought and conversations are filled with complaining. We
have the mind of christ to show us right thinking and strength of mind
to resist a complaining spirit.

This is from "battlefield of the mind" by joyce meyer

Then v 7 and the peace of God which is far more wonderful than the human
mind can understand will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus...he
desires for us to have that peace of mind, beyond what our finite minds
can think or do..that peace will protect us from satans attempt at
stealing our joy. His peace is not the absence of conflict but it comes
from knowing God is in control..prayers with thanksgiving leads to
dependance on Christ for his answers to come in his perfect time and
peace through it all.
That's His word for me today,

God, when we start thinking about complaining, let us praise you
instead. We thank you for the blessing of life in You, the peace you
desire to give us. Help us not to look at the circumstance around us
but to look to you as the solution. You are the source of love, joy and
peace. We get out of our grumbling, complaining spirit and into your
thanksgiving, giving thanks to you and giving ourselves to lead others
to you. We love you because you first loved us and forever will love
us. Thank you for Christ's example of walking with you. He didn't even
complain in the wilderness with the devil. We ask forgiveness for doing
life alone and ask you to take the throne...we love you Lord Jesus.

I encourage you to pass this along to whomever God has on your heart.
